The Beijing Municipal Government and the Chinese Academy of Sciences are now in the process of making joint efforts to build Beijing Science and Innovation Center with global impact, the major campus of which is the Huairou Science City, where several large-scale scientific facilities and research platforms will be built in the near future. This conference aims to share experience with each other in the development and operation of national science and innovation centers/laboratories/parks, to promote the collaborations among the centers around the world, and better shape the National Science and Innovation Center based in Huairou, Beijing. For this purpose, the Beijing Municipal Government and the Chinese Academy of Sciences will jointly hold an International Conference on National Science and Innovation Centers in Huairou, Beijing on July 12, 2017.

This conference will address and discuss issues of key importance to the operation and management of national science and innovation centers/laboratories/parks. We are inviting more than 20 international senior experts on scientific management to speak at the conference. They will be expected to give some talks on issues such as development roadmap, strategic positioning, user facilities management, linkages with universities and industry, innovation mechanism related to scientific center/laboratory/park, as well as its impact on local economy.
