The PAPS project focus on building an advanced accelerator technology innovative research platform, and an X-ray optics technology research and applications platform.

Once built, PAPS will become a national advanced photon source science and technology research center with significant influence worldwide, which will lay a solid foundation for China’s long-term sustainable development in the field of advanced photon source research, so as to reach and maintain an internationally leading position in the future.
