From November 26 to 28, 2019, the Sino-Swiss Workshop—organized by the Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Interdisciplinary Center of Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory (the Laboratory)—was held in Building C Auditorium 213 of the Laboratory. 14 scientists from the Swiss Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), and more than ten scientists from universities and research institutions in China attended the workshop.

The participants presented talks on neutron and optics research, and held extensive discussions and exchanges. After the workshop, they visited the Laboratory and Spallation Neutron Source.

Swiss scientists felt the workshop was very beneficial for academic exchanged and hoped to have more opportunities to visit China for further collaboration.
