In the morning of May 20th, the large-scale scientific facilities establishment leading group held their first meeting successfully in Huairou Government. The district mayor Chang Wei, director of Beijing Advanced Sciences and Innovation Center (BASIC), Jiang Xiaoming and other group members attended this meeting, deliberated on the issue of large-scale scientific facilities project approval work.  

　　BASIC brought a report on the latest process and difficulties involved in the large-scale scientific facilities at the first part of this seminar. Leaders from Institute of High Energy Physics, (CAS), Institute of Physics CAS, Institute of Atmospheric Physics, CAS and National Space Science Center, CAS brought more details about the approval work and present requirements on land and local counterpart funds.   

　　Individuals in this conference gave BASIC and other project-related bureaus a high evaluation on their achievement, had a deep discussion on the current difficulties, and arranged a specific deployment for the next-step work.  

　　Leaders in this conference requested every bureau involved must have a goal of constancy and utilize feasible methods to push the establishment go forward smoothly.   

　　Deputy Jiang Xiaoming expressed his thanks to Huairou District for the concern and support of BASIC, meanwhile he hoped that BASIC could grasped the opportunity of National Science Center reform and future development to push every plan for a significant evolvement with Huairou District.
